Labor Day Weekend

I attended the Blue Mass at Saint Patrick's ... a very moving celebration of the joy of human labor. I will be posting more about this ceremony later this month, including a moving prayer. As Dorothy Sayers observed, it is in our work that we are co-creators with God... this ceremony reminded us that work is not just a means to earn a living, but a way to be holy.
